[text] Hey, wanna meet up @ the big fountain in the courtyard, since we're both heading from classes now? I'm done for the day, if you wanna hang out for a bit~ ^_^
Having paused outside the classroom he'd just left to compose that text, Antonio pocketed his phone after firing it off to Lovino's new number. It was partway through the Italian's first year attending the university & his second year there, so he wanted to make up for the time apart last year by spending time with his childhood friend when he could. Nights were out of the question these days since he'd recently taken on a second job at the Daily Grind & occasionally had late classes, so unless one was involved in his work life (i.e. Francis) meeting up around classes earlier in the day had become the best he could do.
In any case, the fountain he'd mentioned was central on campus, with many buildings a short distance away and many pathways around it for students to use on their way to & from classes. That being said, it was an easy enough place to run into friends, so Antonio headed there regardless of not having heard back from Lovino yet. Being that it was such a nice day out, waiting there for a bit wouldn't be too bad: he could be ambitious and do some assigned reading, or work on some assignments... or tuck his belongings under him and siesta under the sun until the Italian showed up & woke him up. He'd probably look highly annoyed, if he fell asleep waiting. The thought made him smile.
Unbeknownst to Antonio as he made himself comfy on the ground by the fountain with his books, however, Lovino would not come. He'd never received the message intended for him, because the Spaniard had entered the Italian's new number into his phone wrong & forgone testing it. Someone else entirely had received it instead: a stranger, but not for much longer.
