I really should have done this already.

It'd be an interesting thing since Hamish is gay but in this verse he doesn't despise women. Both can try to find things to do in hopes of not being wed

despite being less nicer than usual, marrying someone who doesn't want the marriage isn't something she'll do. Also, does his fairy blood enable him to see past her magic?

He possibly can. He wants to be married and doesn't all at the same time. He knows he needs to have at least one child to be his heir but he really has trouble since he has 7 foot long wings hidden and they grow rainbow sometimes during sexuality activity so that's pretty difficult to hide from a human. He can see some magic since he is a fairy halfling.

I think whenever Nesia visits the palace her mother puts glamour on her to make her seem more beautiful, so maybe Hamish knows that she's a witch. Not sure what fairies think about witches; do they dislike each other or just neutral? Nesia's mother has done some bad things in the past though, but her daughter doesn't want to be like her =w=;;

Hamish only had his mother for a short time in his life so he doesn't really act how a fairy would to most things. He isn't as attached to nature as most fairies would be because he grew up raised as a human so he'd have no issue with a witch. His main thing is he doesn't hate any creature for being that, if you're cruel to him he'll hate you but because of what you were born. As long as Nesia isn't mean to Hamish he has no reason to hate her witch or not. He's a fairy so he already lived among a society that would hate him if they knew.

Many of the humans don't like any creatures at all so I don't see it likely that the humans want a non human holding power.
it might be fun seeing Nesia's mom try to get them to marry XD
