Centuries ago, a dark and powerful creature wreaked havoc upon the world until a group of heroes, The Heroes of Old, as they are called now, vanquished the beast and sealed it away. As a result, they were granted immortality and were praised by the people of Imperium Sine Fine—and were often revered as being close to gods.

As the years passed, the kingdom’s people began to align with and favor certain Heroes over others, and in time, the kingdom split into four separate kingdoms. Each of the smaller kingdoms and their people slowly began to resent one another, and the once peaceful lands began to buzz with tension. However, discontent among the four kingdoms was not the only danger that the world seemed to face.

The Heroes of Old have returned and announced that the creature they had once claimed they had defeated was going to return again soon. Despite this, their centuries old lies of having fully vanquished the beast has become so ingrained in their descendants that few heed their warnings of impending doom and refuse to work together against the possible threat…

Long Live Ignorance is a literate Axis Powers Hetalia AU that takes place in an old world setting in which characters are associated with one of four kingdoms depending on their ancestry. Some will have the ability to wield powers, granted to them either by their ancestors via inherited skills, or earned from one of the Heroes of Old. Will you be a noble warrior who lives for battle, or perhaps a peasant that barely scrapes by to provide for his family? It's up to you to decide your place in this world and whether or not you will be one of the few that heed the Heroes' warning, or part of the majority that are content with living their lives in ignorance.

We are a new site with a friendly staff and plenty of canon characters available to play We are also currently accepting nation OC's, and highly encourage those who play Ancients to join our ranks.
