A cafe, it seemed silly. A cafe, so less grand, she even had to dress a little down. There was no gown to the nines to mean business, or make up to kill- well, her make up was still pretty nice- but instead it dragged her down to look normal. A cafe, oh a cafe meant simpler, and she wasn't sure she knew that sometimes when trying to impress people to talk to her. Nice dark jeans, heeled boots, a flannel with the sleeves up and her hair pinned up, was it too casual? It gave her a place to hide a weapon, but it was no fancy attire, but was it too simple? Questions, so many questions, just on clothes alone.
This was was it wasn't her first choice, a little cafe, but she guessed it would do. Usually Liluuna attempted to be a little more dramatic, something grand, a wonderful restaurant, roll out that red carpet so to say, but this would do as well. After all, it was just a so-so interview and automatic hire, that's what she'd been sent for. Or well, kind of. Mia allowed a little freedom, especially for her as there was knowledge that Liluuna would- for lack of better terms- not fuck up wit the family, and that's what really mattered. So with a little vague farewell, she'd told her princess girl she'd fill her in more later, post the meeting. The rest was on her, that way, if something went wrong, Liluuna could at least take full blame for some sort of poor planning or something, she'd figure it out.
Moving on of course, she shifted the cup in her hands, rotating it just slightly as if to stir without a spoon. It was getting cold and she was getting bored, but that's what happens when the habit of being so early for everything gave her. She took a drink and set it back to the table, leaning on her arm before reaching for the fork on the tiny plate in front of her too; she'd caved a bit and bought some of the chocolate cake the cafe sold, and absolutely worth it. She wanted at least twelve more, who needed a lunch right? Cake was better. In fact, she might go by more after she finished off the bites of this piece, depending on how long she continued to wait.
But this all reason again, was why she better like restaurants to conduct business. Waiting wouldn't be so bad to her. She could order a strong drink, a meal, have a better table to set herself out on, and it was secluded. But the information she'd pulled about this woman to meet, it seemed this might just be better.
She looked up and to the door, giving a little hum. Her fingers were tapping her cheek as her other hand reached for her phone, checking the time. Any time now for sure, it had to be.
so the meeting turned casual date let's go-- @nyororo
