Updates as of July 3, 2017!

Hello! 

We're here to let you know about a few of the updates we have implemented recently--we think you'll like them, and hopefully, it'll add a bit of extra fun.

NEW SKIN!
As you can tell, we've decided to go for a more light-hearted skin this time around. Don't worry, you can still access the Cboxes and other items by clicking on the dandelion Icon at the left of the screen. The new skin also requires THREE avatar/profile pictures instead of two. There is a spot for a wanted ad, if you dare to use that, otherwise you can just link your introduction thread if you hate leaving spots empty. You'll be happy to know that we still get to keep our music players. Woo!  If you experience any issues with the new skin/theme, please let one of the staff members know.

ACTIVITY CHECK SCHEDULE!
Yup...That's exactly what it sounds like, and you can find it HERE.

Plugins!
We have finally got our old spoiler tag back! It's going to be on the posting bar and will look like a little smiley face telling you to shush, but hey, no more having to type it all out! 

We also have PRESTO BOX, which is fairly old, but quite useful. You can take a look at it below:

AWARDS!?
That's right! We're bringing back awards, but we're making them even better. No, we won't be having OTMs, because quite frankly, they get a bit droll, but we do have certain awards you can work for in the RPs. We'll add to them over time, of course, but  we have to start somewhere! You can take a look at some of the ones we have available HERE.. of course.. we also have a couple of super secret ones that we'll give out from time to time, so stay sharp.


YEAR IN REVIEW
In lieu of OTM's and the like, we've decided to do a year in review. It'll recogize prominent AUs, threads, and characters alike, and of course, there will be a chance to get a coveted award if you are a winner! We'll post about it more later this year, but rest assured that YOU GUYS will also be given a chance to cast your vote and let us know who or what you think deserves a prize.


AU CLEANUP
Since we've lost several players and characters over the years - and gained a few others - this is a notice to let you guys know that almost every AU needs some work. We are in the process of altering timelines and cleaning up lists (it's a big job!).

In the meantime, anyone who needs to revamp their mini-bios for any AU can use that as a post for their activity check this time.

Standard Maintenence
Now for the boring bits. Updates also include:
- Archived old/dead threads
- Purging of inactive members
- Altering of Timelines in AUs (ongoing)
- Fixing Colors and codes in some threads.

Oops. HI again. I forgot to mention that we also added a POSTING TEMPLATES Plugin!

This plugin gives each member the ability to create multiple posting templates under the "Settings" tab on the "Edit Profile & Settings" page. Once you have created one or more templates, they will be available to you on all of the posting pages and quick reply for UBBC only. All you have to do is click on a template and its contents will be automatically inserted into your post.

NOTICE: You can store up to 4,000 characters total for all of your templates since the data is stored with a private user key. You will know if you have gone over the limit of characters if you do not get a "Successfully saved!" message.
