Hi guys,
In light of school starting up, we felt like this'd be a good opportunity to ask if our current activity checking method still works for most of us. We've been doing monthly check-in threads lately, but we're open to changing things to better suit you guys given that we get feedback on what you'd all prefer.
Explanations & Implications
Monthly check-ins = This is what we already do. Voting for this means you're content with how activity is currently screened.
Check-ins every two months = Extending activity checks over two months instead of one would give people with busy schedules a bigger window of opportunity to post. The downside of this would be that active members could be waiting longer for posts than they already do.
Monthly mod checking = We would manually check each profile's activity at the end of each month to see when the character last posted in a roleplaying thread. We'd then message muns at risk of losing characters prompting them to post within a week. This way would require no checking in, but could potentially make it harder to remember to post within a week because there wouldn't be a formal space to remind you (like the check-in thread served to do).
Mod checking every two months = Same pros & cons as the last two methods (i.e. pros = more time to post, no checking in; cons = potentially longer wait for replies, maybe harder to remember to post).
*The result of this poll may result in changes to the rules involving posting frequency and activity monitoring protocol.
